1997:
Orsys starts developing embedded IEEE 1394 modules. IEEE 1394 is one of todays most emerging state-of-the-art technologies. Orsys releases the first embedded IEEE 1394 interface board in the world with fully standard compliant software-support for nearly any DSP or microcontroller. Orsys becomes a TI Third Party for IEEE 1394 solutions.

Emerging Projects:
Together with Siemens, Orsys develops major parts of the videophone T-View 100 distributed by Deutsche Telekom. Again, Orsys proofs deep knowledge and experience in real-time critical embedded design.
